The Ministry of Religious Affairs has successfully reduced the cost of air travel for Hajj aspirants in 2025, offering a $50 reduction per pilgrim. The airfare for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been set at $800, down from $850 last year.
PIA has been allocated a quota to transport 35,000 pilgrims, matching the quota granted to Saudi Airlines. In addition to PIA, other airlines will also participate in transporting pilgrims: Air Sial will handle 3,500 pilgrims, Air Blue 7,300, and Serene Air 7,500.
