Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday reduced petrol prices by Rs. 12 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs. 135 per litre.

The premier announced that petrol prices will fall from Rs. 378 per litre to Rs. 366 per litre and diesel to Rs. 385 starting Saturday.

The government last week raised petrol by Rs. 137.24 per litre and diesel by Rs. 184.49 per litre, taking diesel prices to Rs. 520.35 per litre and petrol to Rs. 458 per litre.

Later that day, the PM reduced petrol by Rs. 80/litre to Rs. 378.
