Gold prices in Pakistan recorded another modest decline on Monday, tracking a downward trend in international markets.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 1,600, settling at Rs. 495,362. The rate for 10 grams also dropped by Rs. 1,371 to close at Rs. 424,693.

The latest dip follows heightened geopolitical developments after US President Donald Trump announced that the United States Navy would begin a limited blockade targeting Iran following failed peace talks held in Pakistan. Markets reacted cautiously as investors reassessed global risk sentiment, contributing to fluctuations in precious metal prices.

Gold had already declined by Rs. 700 on Saturday, ending that session at Rs. 496,962 per tola, indicating continued volatility in local bullion markets.

Meanwhile, silver prices also moved lower, falling by Rs. 130 to reach Rs. 7,934 per tola.
