On Friday, gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant rise, closing above the Rs. 273,000 per tola mark. According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs. 2,700, reaching Rs. 273,900 per tola. Additionally, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs. 2,315, settling at Rs. 234,825.
The price of 22-karat gold was recorded at Rs. 215,256 per 10 grams.
This increase follows a recent decline in gold prices, with a drop of Rs. 500 per tola on Thursday and a more substantial decrease of Rs. 3,000 per tola on Wednesday. Despite these fluctuations, the current price of gold remains just below the all-time high of Rs. 277,000 per tola, which was recorded towards the end of last month.
