Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward climb on Tuesday, mirroring gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola soared to Rs. 356,800, marking a substantial increase of Rs. 6,600 in a single day.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs5,658, reaching Rs305,898. This follows Monday’s uptick, when gold per tola was priced at Rs350,200 after a gain of Rs800.
The international gold market also saw significant movement, with rates climbing to $3,348 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a gain of $66, as reported by APGJSA.
Silver prices followed suit, with the price per tola increasing by Rs52 to reach Rs3,834.
