Gold prices in Pakistan saw a sharp increase on Monday, with the price of 24 karat gold rising by Rs. 7,800 per tola to reach Rs. 350,000, up from Rs. 342,200 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

This surge follows a recent decline from an all-time high of Rs. 363,700 per tola, with gold prices dropping to Rs. 344,500 last Friday—a decrease of nearly Rs. 20,000 from the record high.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also rose by Rs. 6,687, reaching Rs. 300,068 compared to Rs. 293,381 previously. Similarly, 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased by Rs. 6,130 to Rs. 275,072 from Rs. 268,942.

Silver prices followed suit, with per tola rates climbing by Rs. 43 to Rs. 3,425 and ten-gram silver increasing by Rs. 37 to Rs. 2,936.

On the international market, gold prices jumped by $76 to $3,316 per ounce, while silver rose by $0.43 to $32.43 per ounce, the Association reported.
