Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Friday, mirroring a rebound in international markets where bullion climbed above $5,000 per ounce.
Locally, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 2,500, reaching Rs. 526,462. Similarly, the 10-gram gold rate increased to Rs. 451,356, up Rs. 2,144, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, gold per tola had closed at Rs. 523,962, after a daily gain of Rs. 7,900.
In the global market, gold prices gained $25 to touch $5,037 per ounce, trading at a $20 premium.
Silver also saw a modest rise, climbing Rs. 170 to close at Rs. 8,574 per tola, reflecting steady demand in the precious metals sector.
