Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, posting modest gains in line with rising international rates.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs. 2,800 to Rs. 478,762, while 10 grams rose by Rs. 2,401 to Rs. 410,461.

On Monday, gold had climbed to Rs. 475,962 per tola after gaining Rs. 3,900 during the trading session.

The international gold market also showed strength, with prices rising by $28 to $4,560 per ounce, along with an additional $20 premium.

Silver prices saw an increase of Rs. 260, settling at Rs. 7,784 per tola.
