The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan fell by Rs. 900 on Thursday, selling at Rs. 298,700, compared to Rs. 299,600 on the previous trading day, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. Despite the decline, experts predict that gold prices in Pakistan are poised to cross the Rs. 300,000 per tola milestone for the first time in history, following international market trends.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs. 772, settling at Rs. 256,087, down from Rs. 256,859. Similarly, the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold decreased to Rs. 234,754, compared to Rs. 235,454 the previous day.

Silver prices also saw a decline, with the price of per tola silver dropping by Rs. 23 to Rs. 3,327, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs. 20, reaching Rs. 2,852.

In the international market, gold prices also experienced a dip, with the price of gold decreasing by $9, settling at $2,859 per ounce, down from $2,868, as reported by the Association.
