The price of gold in Pakistan recorded its first increase in December, following a decline on Monday. According to data released by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs. 700 per tola, reaching Rs. 275,200. Similarly, the price of 10 grams increased by Rs. 600, settling at Rs. 235,940.
On Monday, gold prices had dropped by Rs. 1,700 per tola before rebounding today.
In the international market, gold prices also saw an uptick, rising by $4 to $2,646 per ounce, marking a 0.16 percent increase compared to the previous day.
The latest rise in gold prices reflects a recovery in both local and global markets.
