Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs. 275,700 per tola, marking a rise of Rs. 500, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs428, reaching Rs236,368. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs216,671 per 10 grams, reflecting the upward trend in the domestic market.
In the international market, spot gold traded near $2,649 per ounce, down $0.9 or 0.03% from the previous session. Despite the slight dip globally, domestic gold prices continued to rise, driven by local market dynamics and currency fluctuations.
Unlike gold, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged. The price of 24-karat silver stood at Rs3,400 per tola and Rs2,915 per 10 grams.
