Gold prices in Pakistan experienced an increase on Wednesday, breaking an eight-day streak of consecutive losses. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 300, reaching Rs. 354,665.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams increased by Rs. 258, bringing it to Rs. 304,068. The rise in prices is attributed to positive growth in the international market.

This uptick follows significant losses on Tuesday, when the price per tola had dropped by Rs. 3,800.

On the international front, gold prices rose by $3 to $3,330 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.

In addition to gold, silver prices in the local market also saw an increase, climbing by Rs. 26 to reach Rs. 3,764 per tola.
