Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a new all-time high on Monday, with an increase of Rs. 4,000 per tola. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold reached Rs. 303,000 per tola, marking a significant rise.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also saw an increase of Rs. 3,429, settling at Rs. 259,773. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs. 238,133 per 10 grams.

In the international market, spot gold traded near$2,902 per ounce, reflecting a gain of$34.5 or 1.20 percent from the previous session. The sharp rise in gold prices both locally and globally highlights the growing demand for the precious metal amid economic uncertainties.
