Gold prices in Pakistan fell for the second consecutive day on Wednesday, mirroring a decline in international markets. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-carat gold decreased by Rs. 1,000 per tola, settling at Rs. 282,200. Similarly, the price for 10 grams dropped by Rs. 857, reaching Rs. 241,941.
This decline follows a recent increase of Rs. 700 per tola on Monday, with prices subsequently falling by Rs. 500 per tola on Tuesday. Last month, gold prices reached an all-time high of Rs. 287,900 per tola.
In the international market, the price of gold was reported at $2,727 per ounce, including a $20 premium, marking a $10 decrease during the day, according to APGJSA.
