The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan rose by Rs. 2,500 on Thursday, reaching Rs. 304,000 per tola, compared to Rs. 301,500 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 2,144, climbing to Rs. 260,631 from Rs. 258,487. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,965, reaching Rs. 238,920 from Rs. 236,955.
Silver prices also saw an upward trend, with the price of per tola silver increasing by Rs. 55 to Rs. 3,367, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs. 47 to Rs. 2,886.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $25, reaching $2,913 per ounce from $2,888. Silver prices also rose by $0.55, reaching $32.25 per ounce, the Association reported.
