Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, mirroring a decline in international rates. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,600, settling at Rs273,300 in the local market. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs2,229, reaching Rs234,311.

This decline comes after an increase in the previous session, during which gold prices rose by Rs1,000 per tola on Wednesday.

The drop in local gold prices aligns with a decrease in international gold rates. According to APGJSA, the global price of gold fell by $26 on Thursday, bringing it to $2,621 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

In addition to gold, silver prices in Pakistan also saw a reduction. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs50, settling at Rs3,350.
