Gold prices in Pakistan declined again on Friday, tracking a downturn in the international bullion market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 3,400 to Rs. 533,762. The rate for 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs. 2,915, settling at Rs. 457,614.
A day earlier, gold prices had already fallen by Rs. 2,800 per tola, bringing the rate to Rs. 537,162.
In the global market, gold prices decreased by $34 to $5,110 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved slightly higher, rising by Rs. 104 to reach Rs. 8,914 per tola in the local market.
