Gold prices in Pakistan extended their recovery streak on Wednesday, marking the third consecutive day of gains this week.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs. 800 per tola, settling at Rs. 274,300. Similarly, the price for 10 grams increased by Rs. 686, reaching Rs. 235,168.
The upward trend follows a significant decline last week. On Monday, gold prices surged by Rs. 2,500 per tola, followed by a Rs. 3,600 increase on Tuesday. With Wednesday’s rise, the cumulative gain for the week so far amounts to nearly Rs. 7,000 per tola.
Despite the ongoing rally, gold prices remain significantly lower than the all-time high of Rs. 287,900 per tola recorded in late October.
