Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Wednesday, mirroring losses in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 2,400, settling at Rs. 388,600.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold also saw a decrease, losing Rs. 2,058 to stand at Rs 333,161.
This drop follows a period of stability in gold prices in Pakistan, which remained unchanged at Rs. 388,100 on Tuesday, after reaching a record high the day before.
On the international front, gold prices fell as well. The international price stood at $3,668 per ounce, down by $24, including a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.
