Gold prices in Pakistan soared to a new all-time high on Thursday, continuing their upward trend amid gains in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola surged by Rs. 2,000, reaching a record Rs. 350,000 in the local market.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 1,715 to settle at Rs. 300,068.
This milestone follows a sharp jump in prices on Wednesday, when gold rates rose by Rs. 8,600 in a single day, taking the per tola price to Rs. 348,000 at the time.On the global front, gold prices also posted gains.
The international price climbed by $19, reaching $3,329 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
