Gold prices in Pakistan remained flat on Friday, with no change recorded in the domestic bullion market.

The price of gold per tola stood unchanged at Rs540,562, maintaining the same level as the previous session. Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold held steady at Rs463,444, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs540,562 per tola after shedding Rs700 during the day.

Internationally, gold prices were also stable at $5,178 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

In contrast, silver prices registered an increase in the local market, rising by Rs270 to close at Rs9,474 per tola.
