Gold prices in Pakistan moved higher on Tuesday, tracking a strong rally in the international market where bullion prices climbed well beyond $5,100 per ounce.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 3,400 to settle at Rs. 539,962. The price of 10 grams of gold also recorded a notable increase, gaining Rs. 2,915 to reach Rs. 462,930, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
A day earlier, gold per tola had closed at Rs. 536,562 after advancing by Rs. 3,000 during Monday’s session.
Internationally, gold prices climbed by $34 to reach $5,172 per ounce, including a premium of $20, reflecting sustained buying interest in global markets.
Silver prices followed a similar upward trend in Pakistan, rising by Rs. 192 to close at Rs. 9,286 per tola.
