Gold prices in Pakistan saw a modest increase on Tuesday, tracking upward movements in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 1,000, reaching Rs. 523,762. Meanwhile, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 449,041, up by Rs. 857 compared to Monday. On the previous day, the price per tola had dropped by Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 522,762.
Internationally, gold gained $10 per ounce, bringing the rate to $5,010, with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices also rose, climbing Rs. 128 to Rs. 8,569 per tola, reflecting a modest bullish trend in precious metals in the local market.
