Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, has departed for the United States to participate in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. During his visit, the Finance Minister is scheduled to meet with senior officials from both the IMF and the World Bank.

In addition to these meetings, Minister Aurangzeb will engage with his counterparts from China, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey. His itinerary also includes discussions with senior officials from the U.S. State and Treasury Departments.

The visit will feature meetings with representatives from global credit rating agencies and commercial banks, particularly those from the Middle East. These interactions aim to strengthen financial ties and explore investment opportunities.

The Finance Minister is also set to address investment forums and seminars, where he will outline Pakistan’s economic landscape and highlight potential areas for investment. Furthermore, he will visit prominent think tanks in the United States to discuss economic strategies and policies.

The Finance Minister’s agenda includes meetings with selected international and American media representatives, providing an opportunity to communicate Pakistan’s economic priorities and initiatives to a broader audience. This visit is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to engage with global financial institutions and investors to bolster the country’s economic growth and stability.
