The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has set up a new customs facility at the Pakistan-Iran border to manage incoming passengers and their personal baggage more efficiently.
Under a notification issued via SRO 530(I)/2026, the station—named Jeerak—has been established in Panjgur district. The initiative is intended to improve passenger handling and make cross-border movement smoother.
This step follows earlier measures to strengthen connectivity along the Pakistan-Iran border. In January 2025, authorities inaugurated a new crossing point in the Kohak Cheedgi area of Panjgur to encourage formal trade and economic activity in Balochistan.
The addition of the Jeerak customs station is part of broader efforts to enhance border infrastructure, ensure regulated transit, and support the growing flow of trade and travelers between the two countries.
