Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a major relief package aimed at reducing financial pressure on citizens, introducing a petrol subsidy for motorbike owners along with the abolition of bike registration and transfer fees across the province.
In a statement shared on social media, the chief minister said motorbike owners will be eligible to receive 20 liters of petrol per month at a subsidized price of Rs100 per liter, offering direct fuel relief to millions of daily commuters.
How to Apply
The subsidy program will officially begin on April 4, and eligible citizens can apply through multiple channels:
- Call 1000 helpline
- Use the ‘Maryam Ko Batayen’ mobile application
- Apply online via the Maryam Ko Batayen web portal

Registration & Transfer Fee Waived
Alongside the fuel subsidy, the Punjab government has also announced complete exemption from registration and transfer charges for all motorbikes in the province — a move expected to benefit new buyers and existing vehicle owners alike.
Maryam Nawaz stated that the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to providing relief to the common citizen amid rising living costs, emphasizing that further welfare-focused measures are under consideration.
