Bugatti has taken its performance philosophy beyond hypercars with the launch of the Bugatti Factor ONE, an ultra-exclusive racing bicycle developed in collaboration with Factor Bikes and engineered using principles borrowed from the brand’s high-performance automobiles.
Limited to just 250 units worldwide and priced at $23,599, the UCI-legal bicycle is positioned as one of the most exclusive production bikes ever created—rarer even than many Bugatti hypercars.
Hypercar Engineering on Two Wheels
Designed with a focus on speed and aerodynamics, the Factor ONE integrates advanced engineering typically associated with elite motorsport and hypercars. The frame and cockpit are fully integrated to reduce drag, while a widened aerodynamic fork improves airflow efficiency at the front of the bike.
Factor Bikes founder Rob Gitelis said the collaboration required engineers to rethink conventional bicycle design, resulting in a machine built for maximum aerodynamic performance and power transfer.
The bicycle rides on Black Inc Bugatti Hyper 62 carbon wheels, paired with Bugatti-branded Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT tires featuring a distinctive French Racing Blue sidewall. The 62mm carbon rims weigh roughly 1.3 kilograms per pair, optimized for stiffness, acceleration, and crosswind stability—mirroring lightweight forged wheels found on high-performance cars.
Design Inspired by Bugatti Heritage
Beyond performance, the Factor ONE incorporates several visual elements drawn from Bugatti’s historic models. Signature details include:
- Two-tone color treatment with Bugatti Blue accents
- Prominent BUGATTI branding
- The iconic “Dancing Elephant” emblem
- Exposed 3K twill carbon fiber construction
- Carbon brake rotors and an Alcantara-wrapped carbon saddle inspired by Bugatti interiors
The design pays tribute to the legendary Type 35 race car, blending heritage styling with modern engineering.
While Bugatti may no longer hold the title for the world’s fastest production car, the company is now targeting dominance in another arena—elite performance cycling—where exclusivity and engineering precision remain the ultimate selling points.
