JD Technology, a major competitor of Alibaba, has teamed up with Pakistan-based digital marketing agency East River Digital to launch a suite of e-commerce services, AI-driven solutions, and advanced supply chain technologies aimed at boosting local businesses in Pakistan.

Leveraging its expertise in AI-powered retail, personalized marketing, autonomous delivery, and smart logistics, JD Technology plans to streamline operations for Pakistani businesses and enhance customer service. The company’s advanced logistics capabilities, including autonomous delivery vehicles and smart warehousing, are set to significantly improve the delivery experience across the country.

Additionally, JD Technology’s cloud and big data solutions will optimize business operations, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to integrate intelligent supply chain management and financial technology solutions into their frameworks.

Faizan S. Syed, CEO of East River Digital, expressed strong confidence in the partnership’s potential to drive digital transformation in Pakistan. Meanwhile, JD Technology’s Strategy Director, Zhang Ping, highlighted Pakistan as a key market in the company’s global expansion strategy.

With Pakistan’s e-commerce sector projected to reach $10 billion by 2025, the collaboration between East River Digital and JD Technology is expected to significantly contribute to the development of the domestic IT-enabled services sector, fostering equitable growth in the long term.
