ADVANS Pakistan Microfinance Bank Limited has officially changed its name to Halan Microfinance Bank Limited, effective September 16, 2024.

In a press statement, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) informed customers about the name change. The central bank also noted that Halan Microfinance Bank Limited, formerly known as ADVANS Pakistan Microfinance Bank, has been operating with 19 branches since 2012.

It is worth mentioning MNT Halan, Egypt’s leading fintech player, acquired the operations of Advans Microfinance Bank as the State Bank of Pakistan gave its green signal for the acquisition deal last year.
