The Pakistani rupee (PKR) extended its winning streak against the US Dollar (USD) for the 245th consecutive trading day on Tuesday.
The British Pound fell below Rs. 370 against the rupee, while the PKR closed at 277.21 against the US Dollar, gaining 0.0090 rupee during the session.
The rupee has remained on an upward trend against the US Dollar since December 25, 2025.
Other Currencies
The PKR gained Rs. 1.41 against the British Pound, Rs. 1.31 against the Euro, Rs. 1.07 against the Australian Dollar, and 56 paisas against the Canadian Dollar.
It also strengthened by 5 paisas against the Malaysian Ringgit and 4 paisas against the Chinese Yuan.
The rupee remained broadly stable against the UAE Dirham, while it weakened by 1 paisa against the Saudi Riyal.
