China is set to provide Pakistan with 21 advanced fire and rescue vehicles worth Rs. 3 billion to upgrade Islamabad’s emergency response system.

The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan said the vehicles will arrive in September and will strengthen the capital’s ability to respond to fires, natural disasters and other emergencies.

The donated fleet will also include an 88-meter snooker tender, which will help rescue teams reach people in high-rise buildings and improve emergency operations across Islamabad.

The embassy said the donation reflects the strong and long-standing strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, with both countries working together to improve public safety and protect communities.
