The Pakistani rupee (PKR) extended its winning streak against the US Dollar (USD) for the 230th consecutive day on Tuesday.

The rupee closed at Rs. 277.46 against the dollar, gaining 1 paisa during the session.

The PKR has continued to strengthen against the dollar since December 25, 2025.

Against other major currencies, the rupee gained 24 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 34 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD).

It also strengthened by 24 paisas against the Euro (EUR), while losing 29 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).

The rupee remained largely stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and Saudi Riyal (SAR).

The British Pound fell to Rs. 375.56 from Rs. 375.81, while the Euro declined to Rs. 321.61 from Rs. 321.85.

The Australian Dollar dropped to Rs. 198.33 from Rs. 198.67, while the Canadian Dollar rose to Rs. 199.97 from Rs. 199.67.
