The government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), continuing the recent upward trend in petroleum prices.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the revised rates were determined by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) under the government’s pricing mechanism.
The price of petrol has increased by Rs. 1.12 per litre, rising from Rs. 341.98 to Rs. 343.10 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has gone up by Rs. 1.11 per litre, increasing from Rs. 370.69 to Rs. 371.80 per litre.
The revised prices will remain applicable for the next two days.
