Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has finalized the appointment of a new Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO), as the national carrier continues efforts to restructure its management and strengthen its operations.
The newly selected IT chief is expected to join PIA and assume charge in September, according to sources familiar with the development.
The appointment is part of PIA’s broader administrative reforms aimed at improving organizational efficiency and placing experienced professionals in key management positions.
Meanwhile, the selection process for PIA’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has also entered its final stage.
The airline has completed interviews with several candidates who have extensive experience in the commercial aviation sector. PIA is now expected to formally announce its new CEO soon.
The appointments come as the national carrier continues its restructuring efforts and prepares for the next phase of its transformation.
