The federal government has once again increased the prices of petroleum products, with the new rates taking effect from August 21, 2026.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised petroleum prices under the government’s prescribed pricing mechanism.

The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs. 1.64 per liter, taking it from Rs. 363.06 to Rs. 364.70 per liter.

Meanwhile, the price of petrol has gone up by 27 paisas per liter, rising from Rs. 337.51 to Rs. 337.78 per liter.

The revised petroleum prices will remain applicable from August 21, 2026.
