The federal government has increased the prices of both petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next 24 hours, with the latest hike coming just a day before Independence Day.
Petrol has been increased by Rs. 0.45 per litre to Rs. 325.43, while the price of diesel has risen by Rs. 1.16 to Rs. 383.95 per litre.
The latest revision follows Wednesday’s adjustment, when petrol became cheaper by Rs. 0.94 to Rs. 324.98 per litre, while diesel increased by Rs. 0.54 to Rs. 382.79 per litre.
Fuel Prices Under Daily Pricing
Since the government introduced daily fuel price revisions, petrol has increased by Rs. 13.13 per litre, while diesel has surged by Rs. 54.44 per litre.
