Gold prices in Pakistan extended their record-breaking rally on Wednesday, posting a seventh consecutive daily increase as international bullion prices continued to climb.

The price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs. 4,200 per tola to reach Rs. 463,936, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Since August 5, gold has gained a cumulative Rs. 36,000 per tola in the local market.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs. 3,601, taking it to Rs. 397,750.

The latest increase follows Tuesday’s rise of Rs. 2,400 per tola, when gold settled at Rs. 459,736.

Internationally, bullion prices climbed $42 to $4,415 per ounce, providing fresh momentum to the domestic market.

Silver prices also moved higher, rising Rs. 146 per tola to Rs. 7,111, reflecting the broader strength in precious metals.
