Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday as international bullion rates moved higher, pushing the local per tola price up by Rs1,700 to Rs428,436, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also climbed by Rs1,457, reaching Rs367,314.
The latest increase followed a decline recorded in the previous session, when gold prices dropped by Rs3,700 per tola to Rs426,736.
In the international market, gold gained $17 to reach $4,060 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward in the domestic market, rising by Rs54 per tola to Rs6,291.
