Gold prices in Pakistan edged higher on Saturday, tracking a modest increase in international bullion markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs300 per tola to Rs427,736.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs257, settling at Rs366,714.
A day earlier, gold prices had fallen sharply, with the per-tola rate dropping Rs4,600 to Rs427,436.
In the global market, spot gold gained $3 to reach $4,053 per ounce, including a $20 premium, supporting the slight recovery in domestic prices.
Meanwhile, silver prices declined, with the per-tola rate falling Rs12 to Rs6,297.
