Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited (PSX: MUGHALC) has fully repaid its Rs. 2.5 billion Sukuk-V, clearing the Islamic debt instrument upon maturity, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The company said the privately placed, secured, and rated Sukuk-V certificates, which matured on July 21, 2026, were redeemed in full along with the profit payable to investors.

The successful redemption means Mughal Iron has settled all obligations related to this Rs. 2.5 billion Sukuk issue, removing the liability from its balance sheet.

The company disclosed the development to the PSX as material information under the applicable listing regulations.

The Company’s operations comprise of ferrous and nonferrous business segments. However, the principal activity of the Company is manufacturing and sale of mild steel products relating to ferrous segment.
