Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Wednesday, tracking gains in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs900 per tola to Rs425,036.
The price of 10 grams of gold also moved higher by Rs771, settling at Rs364,399.
The recovery comes a day after gold prices fell sharply by Rs5,600 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs424,136.
In the global market, gold gained $9 to trade at $4,026 per ounce, including a $20 premium, supporting the rise in domestic prices.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with one tola trading at Rs6,289.
