The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved higher monthly housing allowances for employees serving in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governor’s Secretariat from BPS-03 to BPS-22, effective July 1, 2026.
The increase was approved by the provincial cabinet during a special meeting held on June 19, 2026, and has now been notified by the Finance Department.
The revised allowance applies to employees working in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governor’s Secretariat. The Finance Department has directed all concerned departments to implement the new rates from July 1, 2026, in accordance with the cabinet’s decision.
Under the revised rates, eligible employees will receive the following monthly allowances:
