Gold prices in Pakistan staged a strong recovery on Thursday, with the price of one tola rising by Rs3,600 to Rs433,836, tracking gains in the international bullion market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs3,086, settling at Rs371,944.

The rally comes a day after gold prices fell sharply by Rs4,700 per tola, when the precious metal closed at Rs430,236.

In the global market, gold climbed by $36 to $4,113 per ounce, including a premium of $20, providing fresh support to domestic prices.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with one tola trading at Rs6,421 in the local market.
