The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Islamabad has recovered 13 smuggled vehicles and foreign-origin goods valued at more than Rs. 200 million during a series of intelligence-based anti-smuggling operations carried out since June 15, 2026.
According to Customs, the seized vehicles include Toyota Crown, Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Prius, Toyota Passo, Suzuki Alto, and several heavy motorcycles. Officials said the combined value of the vehicles and other confiscated goods exceeds Rs. 200 million.
In a separate phase of the operation, Customs teams conducted raids on retail outlets and commercial establishments suspected of dealing in non-duty-paid imported products.
During the inspections, authorities confiscated imported perfumes, cosmetics, food items, cloth and other foreign-origin merchandise that was allegedly brought into Pakistan without payment of the required customs duties and taxes or in violation of the country’s import regulations.
Customs estimated the market value of the goods recovered from the retail outlets at around Rs. 15 million. The confiscated items have been taken into official custody, and legal proceedings have been initiated under the applicable laws.
The Collectorate said it will continue intelligence-led enforcement operations in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies as part of its ongoing efforts to curb smuggling, safeguard legitimate trade and protect government revenue.
