A lighthearted relationship contract created by a gamer to secure uninterrupted Grand Theft Auto VI playtime has gone viral, entertaining social media users as excitement builds for one of the year’s biggest game releases.
The signed agreement lays out a set of ground rules for the game’s launch period, asking the gamer’s partner not to interrupt gameplay, complain about the amount of time spent playing, or dismiss the experience with comments like, “It’s just a game.”
The contract also includes a playful clause stating that hugs, kisses, and other displays of affection must wait until the player finishes a mission. Another provision allows the partner to strike out one condition from the agreement if they chip in at least £40 toward buying the game.
After being shared on Reddit by u/dontfwithme99, the document quickly spread across X and other social media platforms, where thousands of users praised the couple’s sense of humor and joked that it should become the “official GTA 6 launch agreement.”
Although clearly intended as a joke rather than a legally enforceable document, the agreement has sparked plenty of discussion about gaming habits, relationships, and the extraordinary hype surrounding GTA VI.
With the highly anticipated title set to arrive in November, fans continue to flood social media with memes, countdowns, and humorous posts, making the viral relationship contract one of the latest internet sensations inspired by Rockstar Games’ upcoming release.
