US President Donald Trump has claimed that planned American military strikes on Iran were called off following high-level diplomatic discussions involving Iran and multiple regional and global powers.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said negotiations had been elevated to the highest levels of Iranian leadership and had received approval in principle and detail from all participating sides.

He stated that, acting as President of the United States, he had cancelled the scheduled strikes and bombing operations planned for the evening.

According to his post, the reported framework involved Iran, the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and several other parties.

Trump also claimed that a naval blockade would remain in effect until the agreement is formally finalized, with the time and place of signing to be announced later.

The claims have not been independently verified, and there has been no official confirmation from the White House or any of the governments mentioned.
