Gold prices recorded a sharp decline across Pakistan on Wednesday, tracking a significant fall in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 6,800, bringing the new rate down to Rs. 470,362.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 5,830 to settle at Rs. 403,259.

The latest drop follows a stable session on Tuesday when gold prices remained unchanged at Rs. 477,162 per tola after gaining Rs. 900 a day earlier.

In global markets, gold prices fell sharply by $68 per ounce, settling at $4,480, which directly influenced local bullion rates.

Silver prices also moved lower, declining by Rs. 125 to close at Rs. 7,974 per tola in the domestic market.
