The federal government has announced three public holidays on May 26, 27, and 28 on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

The decision was approved by the prime minister, after which the Cabinet Division issued an official notification.

According to the notification, the three days will be observed as public holidays across the country.

The Cabinet Division has also sent a formal communication to all government institutions and departments regarding the holiday schedule.

The announcement is expected to allow citizens across Pakistan to make travel and Eid arrangements in advance.
