Gold prices in Pakistan recorded an increase on Monday, tracking a modest upward movement in the international market after recent fluctuations.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 900 to reach Rs. 477,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 772, closing at Rs. 409,089.
The precious metal had previously declined by Rs. 600 on Saturday, while a sharper drop of Rs. 15,500 was recorded on Friday, reflecting recent volatility in the market.
In global trading, gold prices edged up by $9 per ounce to $4,548, contributing to the rebound in domestic rates.
Silver prices also moved higher, gaining Rs. 26 to settle at Rs. 8,073 per tola.
