Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Friday, tracking a downward trend in the international bullion market.
According to local market rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs15,500, settling at Rs476,862. Similarly, the price of 10 grams fell by Rs13,289 to reach Rs408,832.
A day earlier, on Thursday, gold had risen by Rs1,000 per tola, closing at Rs492,362.
In the global market, gold prices decreased by $155 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,545, with a $20 premium included.
Silver also followed the downward trend, falling by Rs972 per tola to settle at Rs8,232.
